Two Irish ports – Dublin and Cork – to get more than €100 million in EU Connecting Europe funding to expand.
Dublin Port will spend €73,759,829 in EU funding to build two additional berths to cope with “expected growth in Ro-Ro [roll-on/roll-off] freight traffic”
Cork Port will get €38,417,475 in EU funding for Ringaskiddy Port phase 2 allowing “basic port infrastructure…to move port operations away from their current location in the city centre.”
